St. Patty's Party!

Today I didn't do much.  Jason left for work around noon, and I watched TV and surfed the net.  I went out to sit in the sun but it got overcast and one of our neighbors began his drum lesson, so I went in.  It was okay though because I had to get dolled up!
Tonight I had a party to go to!
Luckily I had a green dress perfect for the occasion!
I went with my neighbors Bob & Donna to our Community's St. Patrick's Day party!
They provided us with fun hats...
and had the place decorated really festive.
There was a DJ who came around and asked what we wanted him to play.
Notice how they used green all over?  Green peppers for dip bowls and cabbage for a flower vase.  So clever!  They had corned beef and cabbage (but not what I care for so I had chicken).
It was $20 per resident,
 included a full meal
 and two tickets for drinks.
Yummy carrot cake.  Oh... it was really good.

Oh yeah, and an Irish Coffee stand... yum!
I found me gold!
It was fun.  I just wish my sweet prince could have gone with me.
Maybe next year.
I hope you all have a happy St. Patty's Day!  :)
May your pockets be heavy~
Your heart be light
And may good luck pursue you
Each morning and night.
