So let's see... this week I got my windows tinted on my car...
Doesn't it look fabulous? I love it and can't believe I never got this done before! Living in the desert it is a bit of a necessity now!
I got to catch up with some of my friends and family on the phone... in Indiana, Tennessee and Ohio. :) It was so great to catch up with them! Some had scary news to share, some had exciting news to share and all of them made me smile! Thanks girls! I needed that! Funny I have so many girlfriends in Ohio now... and I'm getting ready to have more!
I made some yummy quesadillas this time cooking them in the oven and had much better results. These were chicken, BBQ, cheese, and pineapple.
I wore my new Ross purchase to work and got rave reviews from my coworkers! :) Always feels good to get complements... especially when you wear something new. I knew I loved this top!
I went to a baby shower for one of the girls I work with who is having twins. I put together a cute gift using this tub she had registered for, baby wash, receiving blankets, and lots of books!
It just needed something else. Let me tell you, I have an awesome husband! He was on a trip to Walmart and looked all over for rubber ducks for me while I was at home watching American Idol. He wasn't sure I would like the ducks, so he didn't get them. Later that night, when he had to make a second trip to Walmart he ended up buying the ducks. Aren't they adorable? They made the presentation...
AND Lindsey thought they were so cute!! :)
I love my hubby! He is so great!!
The sky tonight was just amazing. Like a magnificent watercolor God painted on one side,
and like flames reaching out from heaven on the other side. Wow.
Also today Japan experienced the most powerful earthquake it's ever experienced, an 8.8 followed by an awful tsunami.
This is the airport now.
It's just heartbreaking. My parents recently went to Japan and brought back beautiful photos and stories. They spoke of how nice it was and how clean it was. I instantly knew I wanted to go one day and added it to my bucket list.
Praying for Japan and everyone affected by this recent disaster.
