  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 4 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup chili powder
  • 4 tablespoons masa harina flour
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 can black beans (not drained)
  • 1 can pinto beans (not drained)
  • 1 can kidney beans (not drained)
  • 1 can corn (drained)
  • 1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes (not drained)
  • around 6 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Sour Cream
  • Shredded cheese
Directions:
Brown ground sirloin in a skillet with the paprika, cumin, onion, garlic, green pepper, 1/4 cup chili powder and Worcestershire.  Drain off excess grease and put in a pot.  Add tomato sauce, 2 cups water, 1/4 cup chili powder, black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans, corn, fire roasted diced tomatoes, .  Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Dissolve 4 tablespoons masa harina flour into 1/4 cup hot water to make a thick, but flowable mixture.  Add masa mixture to chili.  Cover and simmer another 15-20 minutes.
  • Top with sour cream & cheese.
  • ENJOY! :)
Oh, and you could make some fancy whole wheat made from scratch corn bread to go with it, if the mood strikes you.
Mmmmmm... ♥
