Tiresome Tuesday...

Last night I slept awful. My back is really hurting and it is very difficult to find a comfortable way to lie down. Today I'm frustrated, grouchy, impatient, uncomfortable, tired and bored. :( Back still hurts, and the house is hitting more delays!! GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!

I was debating on going to the doctor today, but I have decided to try to tough it out. My fear is that I will go and wait forever just to have 5 minutes with my doctor. (Don't get me wrong, I love my Dr., but that's just the way it is) Then they will send me for x-rays so I will have to wait at the hospital only to confirm or deny if my ribs are broken and have them tell me there isn't anything they can do for me anyway!! Plus, x-rays don't always show a break, so I could leave with no answer really at all. I'll just listen to my doctor husband and take ibuprofen and rest. I'm gonna dig the ice pack out of a box today too and try that. The heating pad I used last night made me feel worse! I thought it would work since hot showers feel so great, but I guess I was wrong! I had terrible pain. Jason tried to treat me with OMT, but there really isn't anything you can do for ribs. Just ice & rest. It was nice to have him gently try to relax my muscles a little. The compensatory mechanisms of the musculo-skeletal system after such an injury are of interest. If you adopt an abnormal posture to protect yourself from pain, it can cause increased muscle tension and tissue shortening, which require treatment.

As for the house, this waiting sucks. We will never by a foreclosure again! We avoided all short sales just for this very reason... and it doesn't matter anyway! The HOA is now the hold up and they can take 7-10 bus. days to transfer stuff on their end from today! Luckily Michelle told us Dwayne is writing them a check today to get it started so we don't have to wait even longer for this! There goes another $220! UGH! I am just praying that HOA person or people get the job done FAST! PLUS we have to Fed Ex all the docs back and forth when closing comes... if we are still here. We HAVE TO MOVE by the 18th! Jason has to be there on 26th!!

We are going to go out to dinner at El Azul now and hopefully have an enjoyable meal. Then we will come home and probably watch Dexter or Weeds until bedtime! :) The days are all running together! I keep forgetting what day it is and have no sense of time!! **sigh** This too shall pass... right? :)
