Halfway There!

Today is officially the first day of year three of residency for Dr. J.  

I'm thinking back to that first days of residency 2 years ago...

 We had just closed on our house 2 days before he started work.  We were sleeping on an air mattress.  I was shopping for furniture, cleaning with my parents.  Dr. J was getting used to the new responsibility and long hours.  He was exhausted.

I can't believe we have already been in Arizona for 2 years, and I can't believe that we could possibly be moving in 2 more years.  I don't know if we will move or not.  We both love the west.  So many beautiful places...

We have really enjoyed traveling out here.

We also have fallen in love with Arizona.  

 The landscape is beautiful and the weather is wonderful.

I love that the sun is almost always shining. 

This year Dr. J will be seeing patients in his office and be strictly doing outpatient.  

He also wants to do some moonlighting to make some extra cash.  

I am excited about what the coming year of residency has in store for us!

In other news my brother-in-law, who is PA school just received his white coat!  

We are so proud of him and his wife.  

I can totally relate to what a sacrifice and dedication it takes.
