Offer Accepted! :)

Well, maybe I should say we came to an agreement.  We offered asking price + closing costs, and they countered with $2000 over asking + some closing costs.  We agreed, as long as they would do the contract today so we will get the first time home buyers credit, and they agreed.  We went down to Dwayne and Michelle's office to sign the final paperwork.  This all happened just in time!  We've had a week of keeping ourselves busy so we won't think (and stress) about the house and we leave for home tomorrow!  We are so excited!  I just hope everything goes according to plan.  To celebrate, we went out to eat at In-N-Out Burger! :) YUM!! I love that place! We were joking that we better go somewhere cheap and good... since this would be the last time we could afford to eat out!  Ha ha!  :)

We have had a good time in Tucson.  It will take me awhile to get used to the traffic here, but I am just used to small town living so I'll have to get adjusted to big city living again!  I like it here.  I like that we will be surrounded by mountains, yet most of Tucson is kind of flat.  The mountains to the north are the Santa Catalina Mountains, to the east are the Rincon Mountains, to the south are the Santa Rita Mountains, and to the west are the Tucson Mountains!  I'm glad we will have beautiful and cool things to do here and that if we want to go away for a long weekend, we can... because there are all kinds of cool things very close to Tucson!  I'm thrilled about our cute little house, and the wonderful neighborhood it is in.  There is all kinds of stuff there! A little sad to be leaving, but ready to get back to our home... even if it is an apartment, and even if it is Pikeville... it's still OUR place.  :)
