Babysitting

Last Thursday night we went to the Vogt's house for a Cigar & Port Wine Party! It was really fun! They have a lovely home and it was so good to hang with everyone! It feels great knowing we are the graduating 4th years! Woo-hoo! I know they are a little jealous, but it will be them before they know it!

Nicky even had a banner she hung up saying, "Congrats Jason & Kelly on your match! Watch out AZ here they come! Love you xoxo" It was so sweet. The party wasn't for us, but everyone was congratulating us and talking about how exciting it is going to be. We ended up staying until past midnight!!! That tells you how much fun we were all having! :)
(l-r) Nicky, Me, Bre, Marijke, Kristen.
I am really going to miss these girls. Their support has meant so much to me and I love them!

Last Friday night we went to a cookout at Kristen & Chuck's house. It was so fun! They are such awesome hosts! Chuck made delicious BBQ and Kristen made lots of side dishes including a yummy corn dish! They had loads of yummy food and drinks
+ all the ingredients to make Smores! :P I love me some Smores!
The company was good and the fire in the firepit was awesome on a chilly night!
Earlier this week, I went back to Kristen's house for book club. It was fun, and as usual we spend next to no time on discussing the book.
I got to spend some time with little baby Aleah, and eat more of Kristen's great food... not to mention hang out with my girlfriends! :)

Last night we watched the Vogt children, Andrew 8, Oliver 6, and Emma 3, while Nicky and Tyler attend the PCSOM Spring Formal & Awards Banquet.
They had pizza for us to all eat and rented the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox, which the kids enjoyed.
We had a snack of apples and popcorn with the movie, and Emma ended up playing on her own. The kids almost suckered me into getting Emma's makeup down from a top shelf in the closet, but I knew what was going on. Nicky even told me later that they were trying to get one over on me. Little did Emma know that her mommy had told me about her using lip gloss to paint her bedroom walls while Mommy was on the computer playing Farmville! LOL So funny! When Nicky & Tyler came home, Nicky gave me a beautiful centerpiece from the banquet and Tyler gave us a nice bottle of 2005 Prestige Châteauneuf-du-Pape 1500 ml!
We decided to save it for Graduation since it's such a nice bottle of wine! Tyler's dad works for that distributor or something, so he gets it for free! :)
