Around 1:30, Jason called me at work on my cell and asked me if I wanted to know. I was dying to know and knew I wouldn't make it until I got home. He said, I'll bet you won't guess it in 3 guesses, so I guessed our #3 spot, Utah. Then I said our #4 spot, Louisville... that's when he said no, Arizona! I asked him if he was kidding, and he said no. WOW! I wouldn't have guessed that one! Arizona! I've never even been to Tucson!! I think we are both a little in shock that we are moving out there. We really didn't think it would get down that far on the list! I told Jason one wintry day that we should have moved Arizona up the list! Guess that goes to show you... be careful what you ask for! :) I am excited about moving there, although a little nervous about looking for a place to live and the actual move! We love Arizona and just vacationed in Sedona last September!
It's still trying to sink in! Wow! We both get a little overwhelmed when we think about how far we have to move. Wondering if a moving company would be cheaper than us trying to do it ourselves that far? Anyway... trying hard not to worry to much about that just yet! LOTS more stuff to think about before that... and right now we are still getting used to the idea! We did wake up with smiles on our faces though. I am off work today, using my last vacation day. It's supposed to be beautiful... 70's and sunny! Only problem is I have the tummy gurgles. Not sure if it's something I ate, a bug, or nerves. I am thinking not nerves... but who knows? Gonna spend the morning in bed with my pepto & computer and try to look at stuff online about Tucson! I've already discovered they have malls, movie theaters, museums, art galleries, the ballet, symphony, theater and opera! FINALLY, some CULTURE!!! I'll bet they even have a bookstore too! HA HA!! I know it will be hot, but if one more person tells us that! UGH!!! Well, going to go surf the net now! Tonight we are going to a wine & cigar party at the Vogt's house. :) I am really looking forward to it! I can't wait to see my friends!
