Things are going well here in the Hayes household. Jason is close to finishing his first year of medical school. He had his last lecture today and has his last exams are on Monday. I have a bottle of champagne chilling in the fridge just waiting. I know he really needs the break, so I am glad it is finally almost here!
I planted some flowers out on the patio in pots. I have a wave petunia hanging, and 3 pots with regular petunias in them. I also have a flowering tobacco, and a couple of vincas. It looks good out there! Jason likes it too, and has even been seen picking the little dead petunias off of the plants. I told him we had better have a pretty yard someday.
Work has been keeping me busy. I got another 100% on a mystery shop. That makes 4! I can't believe it! I still like my job, but I am ready for that vacation to Colorado. YES! We are still going! Can't wait. This Friday we are going to Johnson City. I have to get a new drivers license... one that says Hayes... and I need a Tennessee one. We kept our tags in Tennessee, because it is MUCH cheaper! It would have cost us over 400 dollars here in Kentucky, but only 25 dollars back in Tennessee. So... I need a TN drivers license to go with the tags. I am getting off work at 2, so we will have to book it there. We will probably stay the night and relax in JC. We'll see.
Well, I need to go figure out what's for dinner. I just got home from work a little before 7 and it's already 8! I'm sorry that I haven't been in touch much lately. We have just been really busy and the little down time we get we end up spending time together or sleeping!!
