Some Perspective on Med School Year One

Today my sweet husband sent the following email out:

I just had to take this picture (actually Kelly took it) to commemorate successfully finishing my first year of med school. See if it gives you some perspective on the insane volume of material I've told you about.
Kelly has been wonderful to me during my first year. She's been very supportive and understanding when I'm in "block mode" (exam block mode).
I'm an OMS II (second year osteopathic medical student) now!!!
Hope all is going well with all of you.
Love,
Jason

Awww!  I love him so much!  :)  I can't explain how happy and excited I am that we are here at the end of this first year!  Wow!  What an amazing year!  Jason stayed dedicated and studied so hard to complete this first of many steps toward becoming a physician, and I got a great job and excelled at it earning rewards and accomplishing my goals!  I feel like we have grown into our lives here in Pikeville.  We have made some great friends.  I think good things are in our future... and that feels marvelous!!  Now... Time to enjoy our summer!! :)
