We had a good time on our trip, it was good to see everyone and eat at some nice restaurants, but it's good to be home now again. I have to work the rest of the week, with a Christmas party tomorrow night after work, and then I get a 3 day weekend, then work 4 days to get another 3 day weekend... so I like that! =)
Jason has been enjoying his time off from school so far. He is funny to watch TV with, because he sees things he hasn't seen, since his nose has been in a book all this time!
We got boxes of presents from Mom & Dad! They went a little bonkers! Jason and I were not expecting all that... so thanks Mom & Dad. We now have some presents under the tree! I added a couple for Jason and it looks really good now. We said we were just doing stockings, but a couple of things wouldn't fit in the sock... so I had to wrap a few from Santa and the elves!
We are looking forward to our first Christmas as husband and wife. I am so deeply in love with him, and I just can't believe how much closer I feel to him over time. It's amazing! I am so lucky to feel such happiness and be so loved in return! I hope you have a wonderful holiday full of love as well.
We just got home, unpacked, then I decided to really clean house and now Jason's making dinner! I think he is making a pasta and pesto with sun-dried tomatoes, feta, Parmesan cheese, and black olives... YUM!! Gotta go answer my wine glass... it's calling me!
