Hanging with the Hilliards in El Paso

So this weekend Rick somehow talked us into flying to El Paso with him...
in his plane!
Seriously!  Look how small it is!  YIKES!

Sure I look calm now...

...but right before take off, pure terror kicked in!  I wanted to jump out!
Tucson down below...
After landing... I'm fine again.  I wanted to kiss the ground!
Jason was a good copilot, but that doesn't mean I want him to fly,
which he now really wants to do!
**sigh**
 Rick's 1961 V-Tailed Bonanza...
I found out later this model is nicknamed the V-Tailed Doctor Killer!!!
Glad I didn't learn that before my flight!
**GULP!**
Vilma is an awesome hostess.  She had food waiting for us!
A glass of Rick's home brew and pork lettuce wraps.
(Chili pepper seasoned ground pork with sprouts)
Very tasty! I really liked this!
An agave nectar & Patrone margarita with Filipino Lumpia
(ground pork, carrot, clinatro, onion egg rolls).
These were to die for!!!
Dr. J sampling Brew at Toro Burger Bar.
All of us! :)  Rick graduated med school a year before Dr. J. :)
We all got Blue burgers with sweet potato fries. YUMMY!!
To the base to check out St. Patrick's Day festivities!

The doctors wives. :)
Vilma and I bought shirts.
 Awesome hosts!
Dinner at Seoul Restaurant for Korean food.
 More of Rick's beer.
Love their house and backyard! :)
Vilma made us an American breakfast before we headed home.
Good thing I don't live too close to her, I love her cooking
& I would eat way too much of it!

We had to drive home because some bad weather came in... DARN! LOL

 Home sweet home.
