Had to run to the grocery store today, since we have been gone for a week and need some essentials for Christmas day. Oh my! I forgot how completely crazy people are on Christmas Eve at the grocery store. I knew as soon as I pulled into the parking lot that it was going to be bad. There was more than one rude lady who was oblivious to everyone
but themselves. They were racing around with this spacy yet crazed look in their eyes... a woman on a mission, and friendliness was not in the plan. One almost ran me over. I wanted to say something but a little voice in me said, "It's Christmas Kelly" so I didn't. They had almost completely squashed my Christmas
spirit, until two little ones rolled by in their "car" cart singing
"Jingle Bells" at the top of their lungs! :) Adorable! That made me smile. Then their father said, "You know, there is too much of a good thing!" Bahahaha!
Ahhh... but now I am home... and enjoying my tree... and know that Santa is on his way!
Ready for visions of sugar-plums dancing in my head.... goodnight, God bless. :)
